Performing residential energy audits
delivering and installing energy efficiency materials
including: water heater blankets, pipe insulation, energy
saving showerheads, faucet aerators, compact fluorescent
lamps and programmable thermostats. Program efforts by A-TEC
field staff include writing work orders for insulation
upgrades, arranging for contractors to follow-up with
customers and performing field verifications of insulation
upgrades. A-TEC performs all program related data management
services including tracking program participation, installed
measures, processing of insulation incentive applications
and payments. (Completed over 40,000 audits to date)

Commercial Energy Audit Program”
Performing commercial energy audits
delivering and installing energy efficiency materials
including LED exit sign retrofits, Occupancy sensors,
vending machine controllers and programmable thermostats.
Program includes a leave behind report as well as the
ability to locate contractors for recommended energy
efficiency upgrades.

“Incentive
Processing: Residential & Commercial”
Comprehensive administration of
residential/commercial incentive application processing
including: answering incoming customer calls, explaining
incentive programs, distributing incentive applications,
approving incentive applications, data entry to Aquila’s
data system to generate incentive payments to customers.
A-TEC performs all related program data management tasks.

"Air
Conditioner Cycling Program”
Comprehensive administration of the Air
Conditioner Cycling
Program including: answering incoming customer calls,
supervising installation of new
“cycling” devices each year, handling service calls for all
48,000 current program
participants, notifying program contractors when “cycling”
will occur and various
customer service related tasks. A-TEC also performs all
program related data
management tasks including: data entry of new program
participants, contacting of
customers moving into (and out of) homes with existing
cycling devices and incentive
payments to participating customers.

OTHER
SERVICES
A-TEC has also performed a variety of support services and
special projects for clients including: program promotion,
telephone surveys, field surveys, field data collection and
various customer service tasks. A-TEC has performed field,
administrative and support services for multi-family
residential projects, low-income projects, residential new
construction projects (A-TEC is an EPA Energy Star Partner
and award winner as well as an approved Rater for Energy
Star’s Residential New Construction Program), small
commercial customer projects, commercial energy audits and
field verification services.
